Exercising in the morning doesn’t just get my blood flowing. Exercising in the morning gives me the extra confidence and energy to accomplish even the most outlandish idea.
2. Wake up early.
Once upon a time I was night owl, and then I started college. Now I am a morning bird. Whenever I get my work done in the morning, I get an accomplished feeling that inspires the rest of my day.
3. Eat breakfast.
It’s true. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast gives my brain the freedom to focus in the most creative time of the day: the morning.
4. Explore Atlanta.
If you are on campus and you are reading this, please stop what you are doing. Now, take a quick look around at the progress of the City. This is a very exciting time to be in Atlanta! The ever-changing infrastructure, the rapid increase of film shootings, and the rise of art and culture are in mere walking distance of campus. I discover endless inspiration just by being in the downtown area.
5. Observe Others.
I’ve gained tons of inspiration just by observing those around me.
As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said,
“In my walks, every man I meet is my superior in some way, and in that I learn from him.”
6. Try bold new things.
Most of my most enlightening decisions have been when I’ve expanded my horizon, reinvented myself, or most likely, both.
7. Watch TED Talks.
Arguably, TED Talks could be the best thing to happen to the Internet since the Google search engine. Imagine a conference where the greatest minds from every walk of life meet to discuss the most groundbreaking ideas with each other. Now imagine that they posted these discussions online.
Viola! I introduce to you TED Talks.
I GUARANTEE at least one of these videos below will change your life.

10. Stay consistent.
We often have a plethora of “brilliant” ideas and goals that we want to accomplish. Yet seldom do we get to see our ideas manifest.
After watching this Tyler Perry video I learned that focus is key to manifest success and finding constant inspiration. Each and every day, I have to discipline myself to develop and nourish one idea at time and persevere to see it come alive.
11. Stay open minded.
Someone that never ceases to inspire me is the Grammy-Winning artist, Pharrell Williams. Many may know he is an accomplished musician, but many may not know he is also a very accomplished entrepreneur, fashion designer, sustainability enthusiast, and philanthropist.
He has worked with more creative mavens than I can mention ranging from composer Hans Zimmer to architect Zaha Hadid. How does he do it? By staying extremely open minded in order to learn from others.
12. Challenge your mind.
My mind is truly my greatest muscle and greatest tool.
So to stay truly inspired I must exercising and challenge my mind daily (i.e. reading, writing, etc.)
