Congratulations! If you are reading this then you survived the Fall 2014 finals.
That’s a battle not easily won…still the war is not over. If you are not a graduating senior, there still are some things you can do to get ahead for the Spring 2015 semester that will save you time, save you money, and save you plenty of headaches.
Most students wait until the week before school starts to get their financial aid in order, and by then it will be too late. Save yourself the headache and go to financial aid before they close for winter break!
2. Apply for Scholarships
3. Apply for Study Abroad Programs
Is traveling the world and experiencing new cultures your 2015 New Year’s resolution? I know it’s mine.
With deadlines for most study abroad programs in February, you should use this time to apply for them and different scholarships.
P.s.: Did you know you are able to take a study abroad class up to 6-months after you graduate!?
4. Schedule an Appointment with Your Advisor
Not sure if you signed up for the right class? Thinking about changing your major?
Unless you want to wait awhile with the thousands of other students who waited until add/drop week to see their advisors, do yourself, and the advisor, a favor and schedule an appointment before you leave for winter break.
5. Go to the Fall 2014 Commencement
Come and see your fellow colleagues in their caps and gowns as they graduate from Georgia State at the Georgia Dome!
See you tomorrow ☺
