I’ve always been a huge fan of photography. I remember flipping through thousands of magazines dissecting every part of a picture attempting to figure out the camera angle, lighting setups, and what equipment was used. That’s how I ultimately realized my passion. I came up with the idea to write this post in order to provide cool info for new student photographers such as myself, because it is the most amazing job in the world.

Most people would describe the best summer break as going on a vacation, leaving the country, and sleeping. Ultimately, having the most natural form of rest. However, my ideal summer break consists of going straight to work. I’ve always been a firm believer in working as hard as you can now, so that you’ll be able to relax later on in the future. That belief led to my decision of getting straight to work as a photographer ...
I have recently learned how correct Wayne Gretzky was when he said: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” I have never been one to let opportunities pass me by. Thanks to this, I had the opportunity to spend two weeks in Cannes (pronounced more like “can,” as in “a can of coke” and not “cans of coke”), France, and show my film at the world’s largest international film ...
For this month’s style highlight we would like to introduce you to sophomore Julius High and freshman Hira Choudhry, who were photographed by Donte Maurice.
Julius High is a journalism major who is inspired by the minimalistic vintage style of the 80′s and 90′s. His favorite article of clothing includes none other than his tri-black turtleneck, and his favorite trend is the awesome mid-rise and striped shirts combo.

Thank you? I think. I can’t think of a word or like a clever metaphor to compare you to. Your streets, classrooms and family playing as faculty has kept me ...

Am I the only one who hasn’t carved a pumpkin? Well, I have now, but it’s taken 22 years to do so. I got the assignment to carve the 100-year logo into a pumpkin so we could use it for our social media platforms. Carving a pumpkin seemed easy, I mean, kids can do it, right? I was completely wrong.
I teamed up with one of ...
If you follow my posts you may or may not know by now that I do personal work for hip-hop artist 2Chainz. It all started with going on tour with him and Nicki Minaj, and that has led me to a very cool, unique experience. I can almost bet that no one knows that 2Chainz suffers from stomach ulcers and is allergic to various ...
