How To Celebrate International Women’s Day On Campus

Women have been breaking barriers in education, politics and healthcare since first stepping foot through the door. According to the United States Department of Labor, there are 74.6 million women in the civilian labor workforce, women own close to 10 million businesses and almost 47 percent of U.S. workers are women. These growing numbers are part of the reason for International Women’s Day, a celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

This year International Women’s Day is March 8 and the Multicultural Center is giving you multiple opportunities to celebrate! Beginning tomorrow you can show your appreciation for women at…
