Secure Your New Year’s Resolutions #TheStateWay

It is that time of the year to take on the phrase: #newyearnewme and also the perfect time to get your life together as a student. Though we have already settled into our classes, it is never too late to set a resolution.

From academics to leisure, Georgia State makes it easy by providing scholarly and recreational services to help students. Take advantage of your student fees  this semester by centering your goals around what is convenient and accessible on campus.

Get Your Groove On

I bet you didn’t know Recreational Services held fitness classes Monday through Saturday! Getting fit does not always have to involve weight-lifting and running on the treadmill. Get your groove on at fitness classes like Zumba, Cycle, Step, Cardio Blast, and Ab Blast.

Kick Back & Relax

Why pay nearly 10 bucks on a movie ticket elsewhere when we have Cinefest? Enjoy a moive, popcorn and an ice-cold soda right here on campus for the low!

Be Educated & Employed

Employers are in search for intellectual students to broaden their company, and you are one of them. Schedule an appointment with a Career Services‘ representative to get your resume reviewed and conduct a mock interview.

Stack Up Those Coins

It seems as if there is ALWAYS one class out of the bunch that gives you a hard time. It just may lower your GPA causing you to lose financial aid. Moments like these are when you have to put your fingers to work. Gain back what you lost with the help of The Scholarship Resource Center.

Let Your Hair Down

One of the largest growing student organizations on campus is Spotlight Board Programs. Don’t weigh yourself down with too much studying and homework that you forget to feed your spirit. Enjoy one of the many events they have planned this semester with a group of friends!

Stick to your resolutions and let this school year be one to remember with “FREE” events, services, and unforgettable memories!
