Spring Break in the City

Spring break is here and you know what that means, it’s time to throw all your books and school work down for a WEEK and just relax. If you so happen to be staying in Atlanta or the metro area here are some tried-and-true favorites you may want to consider:

1. St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The luckiest day of the year happens to fall on Spring Break as well. If you love St. Patrick’s Day I’m sure you’ll enjoy this parade which will be making its way though Midtown Saturday, March 11th.

2. Centennial Park

There’s always something go on at or around one of Atlanta’s most popular parks. Have a chill picnic with friends, play frisbee, or relax with a little people watching!

3. The Atlanta Zoo (Georgia State discount)

The Zoo will be open, so if you’ve never been or it’s been awhile since your last visit, this week is the perfect time to go.

4. Six Flags Over Georgia (Georgia State discount)

Guess what? It’s the opening week at Six Flags and we get a student discount! If you enjoy a day full of thrills and food, then head to Six Flags Over Georgia.

5. Botanical Gardens

The Botanical Gardens would be the most beautiful place to visit, especially since the warm weather
