In recognition of National Sunglasses Day, I’ve come up with a fun and affordable project that goes hand in hand with your oversize summer shades. Students, bring out your tube socks, low-top Chuck Taylors, heels or flats, because this project can relate to anyone’s style. Next time you’re at your favorite shop, go ahead a pick up those big shades we all know you love and create some custom shorts/jeans to go with them yourself!
Wait, did I hear that right? — Yes, create them yourself! I’ve got the scoop on the most affordable way of looking hip and saving some green!
Bleach-washed cutoff jeans/shorts craft:
Sunglasses — They’re a must. Don’t ask questions. This summer, the bigger the better. I suggest some vintage frames from the thrift shop.
And speaking of the thrift shop, go ahead a throw a pair of old faded jeans into your buggy. You’ll need these for your project.
Ready? Here we go.
