Most people would describe the best summer break as going on a vacation, leaving the country, and sleeping. Ultimately, having the most natural form of rest. However, my ideal summer break consists of going straight to work. I’ve always been a firm believer in working as hard as you can now, so that you’ll be able to relax later on in the future. That belief led to my decision of getting straight to work as a photographer as soon as summer started. The perks of being a student photographer is that work is actually fun! You get to travel places, do what you love and also get paid for it. Not to forget the amazing connections and networking opportunities you get in the process.
So far my summer has included…
Photographing for various Georgia State University social media outlets.
Working with amazing young creative directors, designers, and stylists in Atlanta.
Collaborating with the Atlanta district of stores such as Urban Outfitters and American Apparel
Being able to work signed fashion models.
Photographing upcoming music artist.
Going to cool surprise parties.
Traveling to New York
Being hired to photograph Raur Fest
and even having the chance to collaborate with SPRITE!!
