Just when I felt like the weight of the semester ending would be too much to bear, I got the support I needed! For weeks the campus was buzzing about the annual Georgia State University fashion show put on by Spotlight Programs Board in collaboration with Infinite Appeal, BSA and RHA. They described VOLITION as a “fast-paced, fashion-forward production showcasing 2013-2014′s biggest style trends all while showing an intriguing fashion film and a few surprises!”
When Spotlight Programs Board and Infinite Appeal mentioned that VOLITION would be a fast-paced, fashion-forward production, they meant it! Everything from the VIP reception to the pre-show, and the show, was amazing.
Here are a few pictures from talented Georgia State University student photographer Myles Nurse to recap the event. Check out more of his work on Instagram @young_pharaoh_ .
This is the reason why I love Georgia State University and bleed blue. Students can come together to create ideas, and productions, bigger than what they could have ever imagined. There’s always a way to be involved as a Panther — from planning a fashion show to walking in a fashion show, or even blogging about it later!
Only a few more weeks until final exams!
